Having enough protein? Egg recipe (AGAIN)

With only 4 eggs left in the tray, I started counting on how many eggs we ate this week (since last Saturday). TOTAL came at 67 😉

Having 8 eggs daily, I thought at least my protein intake of the day is enough.

With 4 eggs left and being Friday evening, I thought of making an easy dish.

Egg Paratha with tomato chutney

Ingredients for Egg Paratha

  1. Egg (4)
  2. Whole wheat + Corn Flour dough (2:1)
  3. Onion (Chopped)
  4. Cilantro (optional)
  5. Green Chilly (optional)
  6. Ghee/Butter/Oil

Steps

  1. Whisk egg and put chopped onion, cilantro, chilly in the same bowl. Mix well.
  2. Make chapati from the dough prepared (make it thin)
  3. Cook both sides of chapati
  4. Put the egg mixture slowly and spread it evenly in the chapati
  5. Roll the chapati sides
  6. Apply ghee/butter/oil as per your taste buds
  7. Serve hot with tomato chutney or sauce

Not so dessert

Eyes wide open, mind convincing the body it’s too tough to wake up & head to the gym. After struggling for a few minutes, in half laziness, I got ready, locked the door & started walking to the gym.

With multiple thoughts striking my mind, I started warming up. As I completed my warm-up, I went to the strength training floor. As usual, there were new faces and NO WOMEN.

With corner sight, it felt like people are staring at me (maybe it’s all in my mind, I thought). With discomfort, thoughts started striking my mind again “Is my tights see through”, “Is my vagina shape visible”, “Is my form correct”. Finally, the thought of “not giving a fuck” suppressed all other thoughts.

With body trying to make mind to muscle connection, the trainer looked at me and with hand expression asked me to pull out my earphones.

With confidence, he asked me, how much weight I use to do this exercise? Instantly, he itself answered (I nodded) and while he was comparing me to the other person (New face). The person responded, “She is too fit than me”. I did not know how to respond.

If for many years in your life you have been an over-weighed person, the image of you being fat will be saved in your subconscious mind. If someone says you are fit, generally it will not make you happy 🙂

As my husband took the first bite, I gazed at him. Without knowing I am waiting for his appreciation, he said, It’s really tasty, I like it.

“I smiled in appreciation” 🙂
